NEW COLLECTION | The Myth: Stories that never left

There’s a reason we keep returning to myth.

Not just as stories, but as something closer... something that feels familiar, even now. They speak in symbols we still recognize: desire, defiance, transformation, consequence. They give shape to things that are difficult to name, and in doing so, they stay with us.

As artists, we’ve always been drawn to this. To history, to romance, to adventure, to a sense of magic that lingers beneath the surface. The Myth grew out of our love for these tales. Not a desire to recreate these stories, but to work with them. To distill them into something physical. Something you can hold.

This collection is built around that idea.

Objects That Carry Something

Each piece in The Myth begins with a symbol: a moment, an object, a fragment of a story. These are shaped into something that can be worn, kept, and returned to.

We were interested in dualities while designing this collection. Strength and vulnerability. Beauty and chaos. Creation and consequence. These tensions exist in every myth, and just as much in everyday life.

Rather than resolve them, we chose to hold them.

The result is a collection of pieces that feel substantial.  Not just visually, but physically. Hand-carved details, mixed metals, and deliberate weight all play a role in that. These are objects meant to be felt in the hand as much as they are worn.

Why Myth, Now

Myths endure because they are not fixed. They are retold, reshaped, and reinterpreted across time. We see them as something ongoing, like a shared language of meaning that each person can interpret in their own way.

With The Myth, we wanted to create pieces that don’t prescribe meaning, but invite it. Objects that can hold personal significance, shift over time, and become part of someone’s own story.

“I wanted these pieces to feel like myths. Like something you return to over time, that shifts depending on where you are and who you are at that moment... and becomes your own time and time again.” - Sabrina, Hunt Of Hounds Founder and Designer

Featured Pieces

Prometheus Necklace

Silver necklace with a gold hand pendant holding a small silver charmOne of the most enduring myths. The act of stealing fire, of bringing something powerful into human hands. The Prometheus Necklace captures that moment through a carnelian ember charm, paired with a brass hand and silver cuff. It’s a piece about creation, defiance, and the spark that drives change.

Persephone Vinaigrette Pendant & Necklace

A technical and symbolic centrepiece of the collection. Inspired by the pomegranate, this working vinaigrette opens to reveal a hidden interior. It's a space for scent, memory, or something private. It reflects cycles of transformation, return, and the unseen spaces we carry within us.

These pieces are not meant to be understood all at once.

Like the stories they come from, they reveal themselves slowly. Through wear, through time, through the moments they become part of.

Some will hold a meaning immediately. Others will shift, or take on something new as they’re lived with. That’s part of what we return to, again and again.

Not just the stories themselves, but the way they stay with us, and continue to change.
